Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stocktakes, and ensuring accurate inventory records.- Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Checking incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, verifying items against purchase orders, and storing goods correctly.- Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring items are securely packed and labelled accurately.- Maintaining Warehouse Organization: Keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, arranging stock logically and ensuring items are stored in designated locations.- Record Keeping: Maintaining records of stock levels, transactions, and discrepancies to support inventory control and audits.- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, using safety equipment, and reporting hazards to ensure a safe working environment.- Customer Service: Interacting with customers or suppliers, addressing queries, resolving issues and ensuring efficient order processing.Qualifications and Skills Required:- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery- Organizational Skills: Keeping the warehouse orderly and managing stock efficiently- Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills- Communication Skills: Effectively interacting with suppliers, customers and team members- Time Management: Handling multiple tasks and prioritizing duties effectively
