Job DescriptionTo support business profitability, customer acquisition and retention through appropriate pricing reviews in line with the pricing mandate.
Provide front-line pricing query resolution for a wide range of products and maintain high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets.Attend to and resolve pricing queries and refunds as and when required.Assist in developing pricing models, perform ad hoc analysis and present back to various committees to inform business decisions.Conduct testing and ensure controls are in place for data integrity thereby mitigating revenue leakage by testing exception files against source.Ensure the smooth running of the annual and ad-hoc pricing process and identifying improvements to the pricing process.Implement localised Pricing strategy to address business needs.Provide advice and assist in pricing related projects as and when required.Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity.Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation.Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.Manage risks in own area of responsibility.Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes.Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards.Additional Requirements3-5 years' experience within a similar role.Good understanding of Pricing within a banking/ Financial services environment.Relevant bachelor's degree (BCom, Mathematics, Actuarial Science).Mature individual with at least 4 years of financial/banking services experience (advantageous).Previous pricing, front line and operational work experience (advantageous).Interest in data science (not a requirement for the role but will assist in fulfilling the role's requirements).Able to analyse and interpret data and reports.Good with numbers and possess a financial degree.Able to debug pricing issues.Diligent, organised, and able to operate under pressure with strict turnaround times.Able to lead and delegate to the pricing analyst (previous management experience advantageous).Team player, capable of collaborating with data scientists, Risk, IT and BDMs.Client focused with effective communication skills.Able to maintain and develop new business requirements and process documentation.Organised, disciplined, and willing to go the extra mile.Preferably with forex, vantage, HOGAN, and/or Siebel experience (not mandatory).Self-starter and proactive in proposing solutions or innovations.Job DetailsTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below. 10/12/24
