Pricing Manager - Gauteng, Rosebank

Job Responsibilities:Report to the Chief Underwriting Officer, oversee pricing for the company.Lead a team of 10 in pricing existing and new lines across Commercial, Personal, Marine, Engineering, and Hospitality insurance.Manage stakeholder relationships across Broker Distribution, Underwriting, and more, to achieve financial targets.Analyze portfolio results to guide pricing decisions and develop best practices, systems, and tools.Ensure pricing tools align with best practices, support profitability reviews, and advise on pricing and strategic decisions.Translate financial targets into underwriting actions, monitor pricing strength, and assist in capital and reinsurance cost integration.Provide actuarial support, participate in M&A analyses, and lead special projects.Qualifications and Experience:University degree in Actuarial Science or related field (NQF Level 7).Qualified FASSA or equivalent.5+ years in short-term insurance pricing, actuarial advice, underwriting, and management.Project management experience and familiarity with large IT projects.Skills Required:Proficient in SAS, VBA, pricing software, and advanced statistical tools.Desired Skills:InsuranceShort-term InsuranceActuaryFASSADesired Work Experience:5 to 10 years Investments, Insurance & Assurance5 to 10 years Middle / Department Management
