Pressure Test Supervisor

Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering and steel works/fabrication company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Pressure Test Supervisor, with a solid background in the Engineering sector to join their team in Cape Town.Please note that we are seeking two candidates for this role, one permanent and one on contract.Key Requirements For ConsiderationYou will have a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 5-10 years experience in pressure testing within a heavy engineering sector.You will have experience in testing pressure on various pipe sizes and pressures, as well as calibrating and setting pressure testing equipment.You will have a solid track record in monitoring and documenting pressure testing charts, reporting thereon, troubleshooting and providing corrective action, as well as planning test setups and team resources.Exposure in deploying off-shore teams, as well as providing training and development of juniors and technicians, allocating projects and delegating according to management's direction.Sound knowledge of OSH and related HSE regulations, as well as the implementation and adherence thereof.You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record.Please note that should you not be currently resident in the region and area advertised but still wish to apply, the cost of travel for interviews and relocation will be for your expense.Due to the exceptionally high volume of applications, we are unable to correspond with each applicant personally, therefore only relevant and suitable candidates will be contacted.
