Prep School | Aftercare Supervisor

St Cyprian's Preparatory School is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and nurturing Aftercare Supervisor to oversee the aftercare programme.
Start date: January 2025 Full-Time, Afternoon Shift (12h00-17h00) The ideal applicant will be responsible for supervising homework, managing administrative tasks, students and staff while ensuring a safe and happy environment for our students.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise children and aftercare staff from 12h00 to 17h00 daily.Develop and implement engaging activities.Create and manage staff schedules.Administer billing and tasks related to the aftercare programme.Maintain open communication with parents, addressing any concerns.Ensure the safety and security of all students in Aftercare.Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures.Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.Take the initiative to improve the aftercare programme.Requirements: 1-3 years experience in the same or similar role.SACE registration is an advantage.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create structured activities.Proficiency with computer software and administrative tasks.First aid certification advantage.Strong problem-solving and initiative-taking skills.Warm and nurturing with a genuine passion for working with children.Displays high levels of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.Ability to think on your feet and make quick, effective decisions.Displays strong leadership and team management.Ability to work independently.Develop a sense of responsibility, conscientiousness and reliability.Flexibility and adaptability.Ability to foster good working relationships.St Cyprian's School is on a journey of Transformation and the successful incumbent will be expected to contribute to the outcome of this journey.
