MORE THAN A DELIVERY DRIVER HALDANE is seeking a highly motivated professional Delivery Driver to represent our premium outdoor furniture brand. Based in Salt River, Cape Town, this permanent position offers R20,000 (experience dependent) and operates weekdays 8:30 to 16:30. Core responsibilities include: Professional delivery and installation of luxury outdoor furniture Quality control and collection of manufacturing components Vehicle maintenance and logbook management Documentation handling and digital record-keeping Client liaison and exceptional customer service Assisting with safe loading and unloading of heavy furniture Support assembly team with furniture positioning Team collaboration with Sales, Production, and Accounts departments Digital management of deliveries using company iPhone (GPS, WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Tasks, Email, Dropbox) Start Date: Immediate OR January 2025 (company closes 20 Dec - 13 Jan) Essential: Valid Code 10 SA Drivers' License South African citizen or valid work permit Matric or Equivalent (English, Afrikaans, Mathematics) Minimum 3 years delivery experience Clean driving record and criminal record Excellent English communication skills Physical fitness for furniture handling Strong time management skills Digital literacy for smartphone applications Professional presentation and positive attitude Advantageous: Experience in Service industry/Hospitality/High-end sales/Design Prior experience in luxury goods handling How to Apply: Email nicolehaldane.co.za with: Professional CV (2 pages maximum) Recent photograph ID copy/work permit Driver's license copy Earliest possible start date
