Haldane is seeking a highly motivated professional delivery driver to represent our premium outdoor furniture brand. Based in Salt River, Cape Town, this permanent position offers R20,000 (experience dependent) and operates weekdays 8:30 to 16:30.Core responsibilities include:Professional delivery and installation of luxury outdoor furnitureQuality control and collection of manufacturing componentsVehicle maintenance and logbook managementDocumentation handling and digital record-keepingClient liaison and exceptional customer serviceAssisting with safe loading and unloading of heavy furnitureSupport assembly team with furniture positioningTeam collaboration with sales, production, and accounts departmentsDigital management of deliveries using company iPhone (GPS, WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Tasks, Email, Dropbox)Required skillsDelivery driver: 2 to 3 yearsCode 10 driving: 2 to 3 yearsCandidate requirementsEssential:Valid Code 10 SA driver's licenceSouth African citizen or valid work permitMatric or Equivalent (English, Afrikaans, Mathematics)Minimum three years' delivery experienceClean driving record and criminal recordExcellent English communication skillsPhysical fitness for furniture handlingStrong time management skillsDigital literacy for smartphone applicationsProfessional presentation and positive attitudeAdvantageous:Experience in service industry/hospitality/high-end sales/designPrior experience in luxury goods handlingStart date: Immediate OR January 2025 (company closes 20 Dec - 13 Jan)
