Medical Practice Manager (with billing experience), Pinetown - KZN
Our client, a specialist Neurosurgeon, based in Pinetown, is seeking to recruit a Practice Manager and Personal Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional mannerDiary Management of patients and doctorTheatre bookings and arrangementsObtaining authorizations from medical aids for proceduresMotivation lettersStrong knowledge of ICD10 codingInvoicing and medical aid submissionsProcessing claims timeously and following up on short payments and rejections and attending to patient liable accountsAttending to collections and maintaining a healthy debtor's bookLiaise with key stakeholders, including hospital staff
Qualification and requirements:
MatricDriver's license and own transportAt least 3 years' experience in a surgical practiceKnowledge of Neurosurgical coding is an advantageExcellent verbal and written English language skillsVeriClaim experience is an advantageMicrosoft Office Suite experience is an advantage
Skills and Attributes:
Ability to work independently and unsupervisedStrong interpersonal skills and organizational skillsHardworking and reliableGood attention to detail and the processing of accurate information
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00Overtime as required
