Power Electronic Application Engineer

Power Electronic Application Engineer required for a leading company in Paarl.
BEng or MEng (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) with 2-5 years of relevant working experience.The selected candidate will contribute to application design within the PowerSense® division.
This dynamic multi-disciplinary team excels in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of electronic modules as well as IoT driven hardware and software solutions.Minimum requirements:• BEng or MEng (Electrical and Electronic Engineering)• 2-5 years of relevant working experience• Hands-on experience in power electronic design.• Prototyping, hardware verification, testing, debugging and troubleshooting of electronic circuits.• Working knowledge of Altium Designer or similar CAD package• Proficient with MCU firmware development in C, C++ and Gitlab for version control• Good written and verbal communication skillsResponsibilities:• Contribute to the application design of the department that specialises in the design, development, manufacturing and testing of electronic modules and IoT-driven hardware and software solutions.• Product development, design, testing and production• Managing project scope before, during and after delivery• Support existing products and clients
