Key Responsibilities Data Analytics & Reporting Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insights for various business functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations and metrics. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting platforms. Data Integration & ETL Processes Leverage Microsoft Fabric and Azure tools for building and managing scalable data pipelines. Design and maintain data integration workflows, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to consolidate data from multiple sources for reporting purposes. Database Management Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and manipulate data stored in relational databases. Manage and optimize database performance, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient data retrieval. Implement data security and compliance practices in line with company policies. Data Quality & Governance Establish data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in reporting. Document data management processes, including definitions, data flows, and business logic applied in dashboards and reports. Ensure alignment with data governance standards and compliance regulations. Technical Innovation & Continuous Improvement Stay up-to-date with advancements in Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, SQL, and Power BI. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes and tools, recommending new features or functionalities as appropriate. Mentor team members and share best practices for Power BI and data analytics. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or in a similar role. Required Technical Skills Power BI: Advanced skills in Power BI report and dashboard creation, with proficiency in DAX and Power Query. Microsoft Fabric: Experience in utilizing Microsoft Fabric for building and managing data integration and analytics workflows. Azure: Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services. SQL: Strong command of SQL for database querying, data manipulation, and performance tuning. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of data warehousing principles and tools. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for managing project tasks and timelines. Microsoft certifications related to Power BI, Azure, or Data Engineering are a plus.
