Postdoctoral Research Fellowship :English Studies& Comparative Literature

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:Applicant must have completed doctoral degree within the last five years.Must have graduated with a PhD degree in Applied English Linguistics/ English Studies.Preference is given to women, particularly South African Citizens and SA permanent residents.Young and emerging scholar, andEvidence of publications in DHET accredited journals (minimum of 2 units) will be an added advantage).THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:Undertake independent research and participate in the academic activities of the Department of English Studies and Comparative Literature.Publish a minimum of 2 Units per annum in DHET accredited journals, andContribute to the research productivity of postgraduate students as well as the Department of English Studies and Comparative Literature.VALUE OF THE FELLOWSHIP:R300, 000 annual fellowship.
