Postdoctoral Research Fellowship: English & Comparative Literature

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:Applicant must have completed doctoral degree within the last five years;Must have graduated with a PhD degree in Applied English Linguistics, English Language StudiesPreference is given to women, particularly South African Citizens and SA permanent residentsMust be a young and emerging scholar, andMust have evidence of publications in DHET accredited journals (minimum of 3 publications will be an added advantage).THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:Undertake independent research and participate in the research activities of the Department of English Studies and Comparative Literature;Publish a minimum of three (3) journal articles in DHET accredited journals per annum, andContribute to the research productivity of postgraduate students as well as the Department of English Studies and Comparative Literature.VALUE OF THE FELLOWSHIP:R300, 000 annual fellowship.
