Portfolio Manager, Credit Analytics

Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To inform key stakeholders with superior analysis in order to ensure the most efficient allocation of funds within the retail credit environment. Manage credit risk and related projects, and work with a team that is responsible for the health of the credit portfolio.You will analyse consumer credit data in order to make informed credit decisions and recommendations.Consulting with key stakeholders that have analytical requirements, whilst proactively seeking to optimise the portfolio of customers by identifying and implementing value adding solutions. Buildingcollections and/or originations strategy solutions that manage and grow the portfolio within risk appetite. Ongoing creation and optimisation of new reporting. Ensure appropriate insights are provided on portfolio trends including collections, originations and impairments. Create new business solutions for, and ensure smooth transitions onto, new systems. Mentor, manage and develop junior analysts in the team. Represent the portfolio in various governance forums.
Qualifications
Completed MatricBachelor of Science Degree: Math, Stats, IT, Actuarial Science, Economics, EngineeringExperience Origination and collections experience within VAF/Home Loans/Unsecured lendingExperience in Credit Risk/Product Analytics/ Pricing StrategyCoding in SAS/ SQL / VBA / Other Coding LanguagesAdvanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPointPlease note: All our recruitment processes comply with the applicable local laws and regulations.
