The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination within the mining industry and a strong understanding of port operations.Responsibilities:Coordinate the scheduling and transportation of mining materials from the mining site to the port.Liaise with trucking companies, shipping agents, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transportation.Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach the port in a timely manner.Maintain and update transportation schedules and shipping documentation.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during transportation and handling of materials.Resolve any transportation or shipment issues that may arise.Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding transportation logistics.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the mining industry.Strong understanding of transportation and port operations.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to transportation.Transportation / Logistics Jobs
