We have an exciting opportunity available for an Engineering Insurance Policy Administrator at Mirabilis based in Illovo, Sandton.
What will make you successful in this role?The main purpose of the job is Policy Administration with reference to new business, endorsements, finance queries, and dealing with Brokers and other departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Policy Administration / Authorization of Team WorkConversions of quotes into PoliciesProvide terms on existing policiesUnderstand Insurance Principles and Business Retention on existing policiesDealing with other areas within Mirabilis/ liaising with brokers.Manage / monitor incoming / outgoing mailMust be able to adhere to deadlines and operating standards and requirementsAssist administration teamAd hoc functionsQualifications and ExperienceMust have a minimum of 10 years insurance experience within an underwriting capacityPreferably 5 years short-term engineering insurance experienceFirst Level Regulatory ExaminationRelevant Degree / DiplomaComputer Literacy: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft OutlookSkillsTeam playerWell-spoken and confidentImmaculate interpersonal skillsAbility to perform tasks under pressureOur commitment to transformationSantam has been officially recognised by the Top Employers Institute as a Top Employer 2024 for excellence in people practices.
