As a PLC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our client's manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and precision in their production lines.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems, including robotic assembly lines, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and optimize PLC control systems to meet production requirements and quality standards.Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC logic and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems to improve performance, reliability, and safety.Conduct system integration testing and commissioning of PLC-based control systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to specifications.Provide technical support and training to production personnel on PLC operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.Work closely with engineers and technicians to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through PLC programming.Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in PLC technology, and best practices in automation engineering.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.Hands-on experience with PLC hardware and software, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms.Familiarity with HMI development software (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Wonderware) and SCADA systems.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems.Experience with electrical schematic design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
