Platform ManagerThe Platform Manager oversees and manages Telehandler and Cherry Picker operators in the Platforms branch, ensuring safe and effective operations on-site or as required. Reporting to the Sales Executive, the Platform Manager is responsible for supervising operators, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting equipment inspections, providing support, monitoring performance, and handling administrative tasks.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervising and Managing Operators:Provide clear instructions and guidance to operatorsEnsure proper training and certification of operatorsCoordinate schedules to meet project requirementsMonitor performance and provide constructive feedbackConduct regular operator meetings to address concernsPromote a positive work environmentEnsuring Compliance with Safety Regulations:Stay updated on safety regulations and guidelinesConduct safety audits to identify hazardsImplement safety measures to minimize risksProvide safety training and enforce protocolsReport incidents and investigate root causesCultivate a safety-conscious culture among operatorsConducting Equipment Inspections and Maintenance:Perform routine inspections of equipmentIdentify and report defects or maintenance needsCoordinate maintenance activities with relevant departmentsMaintain records of maintenance and repairsOptimize equipment usage and recommend upgradesProviding Support and Guidance:Offer operational support to operators as requiredAddress inquiries and provide solutions to challengesMaintain open communication and encourage feedbackFoster a collaborative relationship with operatorsFacilitate training and development opportunitiesMonitoring and Evaluating Performance:Establish performance metrics for operatorsMonitor performance against targets and standardsProvide regular feedback and conduct reviewsIdentify training needs for improvementRecognize and reward exceptional performanceAdministrative Tasks:Manage operator schedules for project coverageMaintain accurate records of hours and assignmentsPrepare reports on performance and equipment usageEnsure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsDesired Experience & QualificationPossession of a Sales, Marketing, or Engineering Diploma/Degree is preferred.A valid driver's license.Exposure to Project Management methodology.A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Platforms (MEWP/Cherry Picker) industry is advantageous.Computer literacy is essential for effective sales administration and communication.Package & RemunerationNegotiableInterested?Please apply via PNET.
