We make it a priority to ensure that each member of the Capitec team feels welcome, valued, focused, and has the opportunity to grow.What you will be doingYou will build, implement and maintain resilient, scalable cost-effective and high performing Cloud developer solutions that will assist Capitec to become the best bank in the world through the application of strong AWS and IaC skills.Minimum Requirements:A relevant tertiary qualification in Information TechnologyExperience in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD toolsDevelop and support infrastructure for microservices-based architectures3 - 5 years' experience in Infrastructure, Software Development, DevOps or Security3 - 5 years design and implementation of highly available, enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure2+ years in AWS, Engineering or Infrastructure2+ years' previous experience with managing a CI system (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Automic)Experience with scripting and provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)Our Ideal Candidate hasDesign and deploy highly available, enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructureStrong design and troubleshooting skills on AWS (Azure or GCP is a plus)Enhance build and release processes through automationDevelop and support infrastructure for microservices-based architecturesKnowledge of authentication and authorization technologies (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML)Understanding of Cloud Security technologies and best practicesUnderstanding of networking in Cloud environmentsAdditional InformationClear criminal and credit record
