What you will be doingYou will build, implement and maintain resilient, scalable cost-effective and high performing Cloud developer solutions that will assist Capitec to become the best bank in the world through the application of strong AWS and IaC skills.
Minimum RequirementsA relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD tools.Develop and support infrastructure for microservices-based architectures.3 - 5 years' experience in Infrastructure, Software Development, DevOps or Security.3 - 5 years design and implementation of highly available, enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure.2+ years in AWS, Engineering or Infrastructure.2+ years' previous experience with managing a CI system (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Automic).Experience with scripting and provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).Our Ideal Candidate hasDesign and deploy highly available, enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure.Strong design and troubleshooting skills on AWS (Azure or GCP is a plus).Enhance build and release processes through automation.Develop and support infrastructure for microservices-based architectures.Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).Understanding of Cloud Security technologies and best practices.Understanding of networking in Cloud environments.Capitec Bank is an authorised financial services provider (FSP 46669) and registered credit provider (NCRCP13).
