Plant Technician/Diesel Mechanic

Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working on manufacturing machinery engines, forklifts, and front-end loaders.
Requirements:

Qualified, trade-tested Diesel Mechanic
Experience in the manufacturing industry
Proven experience with diesel engines, front loaders, and forklifts
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Be of sober habits
Clear criminal record

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines on various industrial machinery
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on front loaders and forklifts
Ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely
Work with a team to manage repairs and minimize downtime
