Qualifications:Essential:Grade 12/ EquivalentDiploma in Operations/Logistics/Concrete Management or related studiesCementation experienceAdvantageous:Certificate in Quality Management or ISO StandardsCertificate in Cementitious Products or Concrete ManagementBachelors degree in operations management /Logistics/MetallurgyCertificate in Financial ManagementSupervisory CertificateQualification Technical / Managerial SkillsResponding to breakdownsSafety and quality auditsManage own time, schedule work, and planned output (do not wait to be told)Responsibilities:Contributing to the development of the Provest Operations business and growth strategies.Formulating Plant operational plans and objectives.Contributing to and executing the Provest Business Development strategy, including the identification of new opportunities, lobbying of potential clients, and inputs into tenders and proposals.Maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 standard (for bagging plants).Cross-selling of all Provest products with current and new clients.Ensuring the achievement of the Plant's Employment Equity targets.Identifying opportunities for mergers and acquisitions.Preparing for Audits and implementing Audit and Risk Committee findings and recommendations.Identifying and managing Plant operational risks.Conducting regular engagements with Provest clients and service providers.Maintaining good relationships with the relevant unions.Ensuring that employees are professional, reliable, and innovative in their daily service.Providing leadership across all Plant functions and departments. Running an effective Plant and truck fleet asset management system.Controlling operational costs and ensuring compliance with the budget.Overseeing the health and safety of Plant personnel.Ensuring effective employee life cycle management for the Plant personnel.Continuously improve Plant processes and systems.Salary R55 000pm
