Plant Operator

Area/ Location: Milnerton Rural, Cape Town Brief Job Description:Water sampling and basic analysingSite chemical inventory controlBasic maintenance and calibration of water treatment equipmentOn-site troubleshooting and technical problem solving.Present weekly and monthly reports to Key account managerMonitor equipment, pipe line, dosing equipment and Flocculent Plant operations.Ensure safe attitude.Need to ensure that we are safety compliant and that housekeeping is addressed on a daily basis.Ensure that he set an example and live the bigger values.Reporting to customers on site and company managementBrief Candidate Specification (Note minimum requirements and recommended level of education is Grade 12):Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics and ScienceMedically fitNo Criminal records2 years work experience in flocculent operations.Previous experience of working in a plant environment.Work experience in the Mining Industry (surface) essential.Previous experience of working in water treatment and Operating Flocculent plant advantageBasic English communication skillsBasic computer skills.Willing to work shifts.
