Our client is seeking a Plant Human Resources Business Partner Lead to join their team in South Africa. Lead the promotion of an inclusive culture that is safe, productive, empowering and equitable.Contribute to the execution of the business plan through the creation and implementation of People Strategies.Manage effective organisational transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies.What you'll do: As a Plant Human Resources Business Partner Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy within your designated business unit. You will be instrumental in developing talent management agendas, supporting line managers in key HR processes, and fostering positive relationships across all levels of staff. Your empathetic approach will be crucial when dealing with sensitive employee situations or legal cases. Furthermore, you will work closely with leaders to enhance both current and future functional capabilities. Your commitment to promoting an inclusive culture will help align our team's actions with our company's goals.
Develop the People Plan and Talent Management agenda for the business unit.Support Line Managers in delivery of key HR processes, such as succession planning or performance review.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees and their representatives.Contribute to difficult individual employee situations, legal cases, employee relations issues.Shape the culture to align with company goals & initiatives through supporting & coaching Line managers in their implementation of core people processes.Work with leaders to enhance current and future functional and leadership capability needs.What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Plant Human Resources Business Partner Lead position brings a wealth of skills and experiences. You have a degree-level education or equivalent, coupled with experience in industrial and employee/labour relations. Your track record demonstrates success in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. You are adept at influencing leaders effectively through your coaching skills. Your experience spans leading people and projects, and you have successfully contributed to the creation, implementation, and execution of people strategies for a business, function, or unit.
