Our company is seeking an well driven and well educated Plant Engineer to join our team in Burgersfort, Limpopo.Job Purpose:The Plant Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation and improvement of plant equipment and systems in a chrome plant environment. They will need to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently, safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations.Key responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal plant performance- Carry out routine maintenance and inspections of equipment- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise- Develop and implement improvement projects to increase plant efficiency and productivity- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulationsThis position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where your skills and expertise will have a direct impact on the success of the plant operation.
