A dynamic, vibrant and growing cosmetics business is looking for a Planning & Procurement Manager in the Production department who will manage MRP (Materials requirements planning) and the purchasing process to ensure that the required service level and inventory targets are met and maintained. They will monitor processes and procedures in the department to ensure they are effective and make recommendations for improvements if/when necessary, engaging with various stakeholders with respect to the planning and procurement processes, facilitating, fostering and growing professional and healthy business relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers. The successful candidate will support new product development by managing the procurement process and ensure projects are delivered on time. They will manage and support the procurement department in their tactical and systemic planning activities, problem solving and decision making, and will lead, develop and mentor the department with regards to professional as well as personal growth though day to day interaction, as well as through a formal performance review process.
