We now have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team.The Planning Policy Manager will be responsible for managing the development of Hyndburn's Local Plan, through which high quality and sustainable development across the Borough will be secured. The Council is seeking to deliver growth and investment for Hyndburn, and the Local Plan is central to this with two strategic employment sites and a garden village at Huncoat.The Planning Policy Manager will be a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced planner who will be expected to manage the development of a sound local plan and ensure it is supported by the necessary evidence. Strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage within the Council, with its residents, applicants, and elected members, are essential. You should be a member of the RTPI with excellent knowledge and experience of planning and development control.
