Planning Lead

Seeking a Planning Lead with strong analytical skills to inform buys & inventory management for each channel in South Africa. The role will work closely with merchants, sales/commercial team & Finance to validate the optimum assortment for each channel/business model.Key Responsibilities:Drive execution of assortment at a store level by ensuring the availability of PC9's as planned.Define units to support sales planItem plan accuracyOverall Margin / Profitability of the assortment.Business performance reviews and action.In season managementLead & drive inventory management KPIs for the marketRequirements:Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalentProven experience working in a Retail Planning role in an apparel businessMinimum of 8 years of experience in merchandise planning & inventory managementDemonstrated forecasting/planning expertiseProven ability in leading a teamEffective multi-tasker, with strong ability to interact with multi-functional stakeholdersKey Competencies:Growth MindsetGood Communication SkillsStrong Planning and Organising skillsCommercial AcumenAbility to collaborate with different stakeholders across many functionsAssertivenessProven facilitation skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentSound decision making and problem solvingInfluencing skillsLevi Strauss & Co. is a responsible employer committed to employment equity and diversity in the workplace.
