BCom Accounts or Supply Chain or related Degree or Diploma EssentialPlanning and Buying experience in manufacturing, Packaging or retail advantageous3 - 5 years Planning and Buying experience/exposure EssentialStrong numeracy and planning skills essentialCharacteristics:Analytical and logical thinkerStrong communication skills, with the ability to interact across organizationStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to make tough decisionsAbility to work to deadlines and under pressurePassionate about customers and the companyExcellent attention to detailAble to multi task and think on their feetResponsibilities:Ensuring there is enough RAW Materials and Secondary packaging to fulfill orders and reorder levels are maintainedIssue daily schedules for Raw Material requirementsMonitoring of slow moving stocksLiaise with Sales personnel to dispose of or resell or maintain reorder levelsService the branches in terms of product required etc.Calculating daily and weekly stock figures, exceptions etc.Co-coordinating plans for external transportAdvising Production and Planners of any exceptions that may be necessary for new productLiaising with Stores & Distribution regarding new packagingLong term planning of stock levels and buffersAssisting with utilization budget processOptimizing stock rotation, ordering and cash flow management
