Responsibilities:Planning and setting up of project schedule with project stakeholders input using Primavera.Analyse the tender documents & compile a resource based tender programme.Assist with the pricing of the Preliminaries based on the programme requirements.Compile a method statement when required to do so.Assist Contract Managers and site teams in compiling the detailed construction programmes and information required schedules.Assist site team in regularly monitoring & updating the contract programmes.Assist Contract Managers and site teams with compiling the cause-and-effect programme to justify the extension of time claims.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering/construction management or any related field.Construction experience (preferably on site) in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of planning software such as CCS, P6 Primavera, MS Projects or equivalent.Proficient in creating master schedules, baselines and reports.Hands-on experience on the procedures required to construct the most common scope items on the project.Experience in formulating a logical chain of events or activities with relationships to produce a workable and achievable contractual deliverable.Experience on how to demonstrate time entitlement within the parameters of various contract types.Knowledge of the principles used to calculate and estimate the durations and interfaces of the activities required to produce the scope of work for the project.Knowledge of the measurement of "Earned Value" and the development of quantifiable activities in a schedule.Construction Planner should have extensive knowledge and experience of JBCC contract interpretations with regards to "Extension of Time Claims" and the methodologies for analysing and demonstrating impacts in the schedule and how to demonstrate it in the approved software.
