QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum – National Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Mechanical or Technical qualificationQualification in Project Management / PlanningPlus, Red Seal Trade qualification advantageousEXPERIENCE:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar positionOperations and Maintenance management experienceGeneral management experiencePlanning and related Proficient skills in applying business improvement techniquesAdvanced skills in MS ProjectsExcellent scheduling and resources management skillsAdvanced skills in MS Office and ExcelMust be technically minded, and capable of introducing new ideasBackground in Power Station and Biomass Plant operation and maintenanceStrong engineering technical background on different equipmentPrevious experience with a CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Development, update, and administration of best practices in planning and scheduling.Ensure alignment with other key elements/project stakeholders e.g., Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Projects and Subcontractors.Assist with the development of the integrated project plan and schedules and align all schedules to the Project Operating Plan.Keep records of machinery service history.Guide and support teams to develop and maintain a fully integrated Project Master Schedule to monitor and control tasks, milestones, and deliverables.Develop and create standard service job templates detailing individual job task, time requirement, manpower, tooling required and safety requirements.Daily tracking of each job against the schedule.Identify and notify the relevant parties when a service job falls behind scheduleGeneral administration duties required within the department.Ensure effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing of all operations or engineering related activities and allocate tasks to relevant departments.Lead Implementation of upkeep Operations and Maintenance Management System.Ensure plant and equipment inspections are being done, co-coordinated, documented and given to the relevant authorities for action.Maintain a backlog register for Operations and Maintenance Schedules.Analyse unplanned downtime and work on preventative plans with Maintenance Manager.Analyse Operational performance and work preventative measures with Operations Manager.Effectively manage documentation and data control.Generate regular month end reports and KPI Reports with regards to the performance, availability and reliability of the Plant.Ensure sustainability and effective utilisation of OEE management system.Proactively manage communication and relationships with clients.Develop detailed work packages in the CMMS system.Analyse and screen corrective maintenance (CM) work orders and burning maintenance issues for opportunities to perform root cause failure analysis to prevent future failures.Manage and execute Planned and Unpanned outages and, maintenance work orders.Attend to procedural and equipment issues that arise and require engineering evaluation and direction to improve specific procedures.Compile periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually) to ensure Facilities Management Leadership has up-to-date information for decision making.Coordinate the compilation of detailed operations and maintenance tasks.Chairs and follow up on daily progress meeting.Perform all reasonable duties required within the scope of this position in order to achieve company objectives.Comply with industry health, safety and environmental working practices and regulations.Email your CV to ******
