Planner Global Grade 09

Responsible for all planning, coordinating and controlling of repair, service and maintenance jobs for a team of Service Artisans to comply with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and customer requirements.Key OutputsPlanning, scheduling, and monitoring job progress and work in progress (WIP) by using an appropriate planning system.Planning cost elements on service jobs (Labour, Parts and Bought outs).Achievement of maximum productivity and profitability.Apply warranty policies and procedures, including service warranty.Issuing job instructions and dispatching artisans (briefing).Initiation and control of Bought Out requests.Follow up on parts, quotes, and service reports.Assist with achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).Assist with effective control of cost centre expenses and Work-in-Progress.Resolve internal and external customer queries.Qualification, Experience and CompetenciesTrade certificate (Diesel or Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic) advantageous.Minimum 3 years relevant experience.Computer Literacy (MS Office, SIS, STW / ET, CAT inspect, myCat.com).SAP knowledge advantageous.Good communication skills and customer relations.Must be a team player and be willing to work overtime.Problem-solving skills and technical competence, rule orientation, and mechanical reasoning.Verbal and written communication skills.Understanding the service work order process, attention to detail, teamwork.
