Planner Global Grade 09

Responsible for all planning, coordinating and controlling of repair, service and maintenance jobs for a team of Service Artisans to comply with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) e.g Caterpillar, Perkins etc.
standards and customer requirements Key Outputs • Planning, Scheduling, and monitoring job progress and work in progress (WIP) by using an appropriate planning system • Planning cost elements on service jobs (Labour, Parts and Bought outs) • Achievement of maximum productivity and profitability • Apply warranty policies and procedures, including service warranty • Issuing or job instructions to and dispatching of artisans (briefing) • Initiation and control of Bought Out requests • Follow up on parts, quotes and service reports • Assist with achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) • Assist with effective control of cost centre expenses and Work-in-Progress • Apply Warranty policies and procedures, including Warranty decisions and Service Warranty investigations.
• Resolve internal and external customer queries Qualification, Experience and Competencies • Trade certificate (Diesel or Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic) advantageous • Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy (MS Office, SIS, STW / ET, CAT inspect.
