Job DescriptionJob responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Effective coordination of the Mine/Plant planned maintenance programAssists in addressing all key elements of asset care strategy using KPIs.Participates in cross-functional engineering and production teams to minimize reactive maintenance.Supports programs to minimize unplanned downtime on key equipment.Supports cross-functional teams to address cleaning, lubrication, and first-line maintenance functions.Participates in the development of RCM-based task lists for all maintenance significant equipment.Participates in failure analysis techniques for cross-functional teams.Identifies significant recurring failure patterns by analyzing maintenance history.Supports preventive actions to ensure cost-effective maintenance programs.Makes formalized recommendations to Planned Maintenance Officers.On a daily basis, executes capacity planning and ensures that both preventative and corrective maintenance is covered.Assists in ensuring that shutdowns follow preset targets in accordance with critical path analysis.Assists in ensuring that all work is controlled by work orders and information loops are closed.Liaises with Foremen to confirm that all technical manuals and documents are up to date.Administers KPI reports.Assists in ensuring that the SAP PM, MM, and CO systems are properly supported.Participates in RCM exercises for all new equipment before commissioning.Participates in Group wide RCM template development and review for primary production equipment.Administers the skills matrix and training plans for all maintenance personnel.Participates in root cause analysis exercises.Administers the critical spare parts lists.Supports the material management strategy.Actively supports the codification and bills of material initiatives.Actively participates in spares and material acquisition.Supports a housekeeping program.Facilitates or manages a tool store function.This position is in the Engineering department at a C1 level, reporting into the Plant Maintenance Coordinator.
