Pipe Fitter

Our client in the Engineering field is currently looking for a Pipe Fitter to be based in Stellenbosch.
Our client is a major player in water filtrations plans & pipe fitting with water Treatment Systems for Municipal water, Borehole Water, Hospitals, Wineries and the Hospitality Industry.
Position: Pipe Fitter   Location: Stellenbosch (Must be able to commute to and from)   Job Type: Permanent   Minimum Qualifying Criteria: Matric National Certificate: Mechanical Engineering: Pipe-Fitting or related qualification 2-3 years experience with Water filtrations plans & pipe fitting.
Valid Driver's License Open to travel Basic computer experience (MS Office Suite) English and Afrikaans (Preferred) Roles and Responsibilities: Client communication and site inspections.
Servicing of our Water filtrations plants, i.e.
knowledge of membranes, bag filters, pumps and motors.
Chemical handling Plumbing experience Perform all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Install, upgrade, and maintain water purification equipment.
Maintenance of plants on site Basic electrical knowledge, Fault finding and repairs on site.
Complete the job task checklist in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist other employees with delivery and installation of products/equipment.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Communicate in a positive manner with co-workers and customers to maintain positive public relations for the company.
