REQUIREMENTS National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at the engineering level within an automotive or engineering environment ESSENTIAL SKILLS Excellent knowledge in vehicle electrics and harness build process as well as harness routing in vehicle build process Analytical ability and creativity for problem-solving Computer literate (MS Office) Good communication skills, team player, high engagement and self-driven ability ADDED ADVANTAGE Competency in CAD Proficient in the German language Good knowledge of the group vehicle product development processes (PEP) Good knowledge of the group's systems: KPM, Hyper KVS, Connect and Avon Experience with virtual analysis tools in a CAD environment Specialized knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and vehicle build knowledge RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out the responsibility and accountability for the CFT Zone function and coordinate a cross-functional team from various work disciplines within the organization with the overall focus on improving quality and DRR through the introduction of critical vehicle fitment/ adjustment processes, eliminating reworks and improvement of vehicle appearances within the production and supplier environment Establish controlled rework solutions in support of series production Support new model introductions during development phases with regards to learning points from previous model launches, key process definition development and build support during pre-series build phases Coordinating, motivating and leading a team of cross-functional engineers to analyse and resolve product and process deviations about the electrical build of the harness of the vehicle Investigating build, audit and process-related problems Leading root cause analysis, liaising with other departments, establishing and implementing corrective actions and ensuring sustainability of actions Preparing and presenting process, product and audit-related issues with detailed analysis and corrective actions for findings to advise management regarding the achievement of quality and production KPIs Participating in the group vehicle buildability forums to define, document and improve key production processes for new and existing products relevant to the plant Definition of key processes and critical points for all production shops with a focus on solving fitment issues and process improvement Developing and proposing product or process changes for series production to improve processes throughout all shops Participating in the build of pre-series vehicles by actively contributing to build meetings, preparing problem/ corrective action documentation, process improvements and training requirements Liaising with overseas counterparts to achieve all quality and production targets for the introduction of new models into production
