Ochsner Health is seeking a BC vascular surgeon to lead our Aortic Center in New Orleans.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with advanced endovascular aortic therapies, ideally including physician-modified devices (PMEG), in-situ laser fenestration, Z-Fen, and parallel grafting.
Ochsner Health has a large regional footprint, with 30 owned, managed, and affiliated hospitals and a comprehensive transfer center.
This built-in substantial referral base and our geographic location of being >350 miles from Houston, Birmingham and Atlanta provide an exceptional opportunity to grow the existing complex aortic practice into a dominant center in the Gulf South.
There is significant institutional support, including two 2nd generation Hybrid rooms and Cydar fusion imaging.
The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery has a rich tradition in aortic innovation dating back to the original FDA phase II trials of multiple 1st generation devices in the late 1990s, the initial clinical trial of Z-fen in 2005, and numerous other aortic clinic trials.

Our division of 6 full-time vascular surgeons perform the full complement of open and endovascular procedures.
