Php Developer - Century City, Cape Town

We are looking for a PHP Developer for a software development company based in Century City, Cape Town.In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work directly with heads of departments as well as the company founders, in order to continuosly learn and grow in your career.This is a 6 month contract role. If all goes well, after 6 months, you may be offered a permanent position at the company. Several of your duties and responsibilities will include:Implementing engineering solutions, Ensuring adherence to product roadmaps, Overseeing the health and operation of the development team, Working in an Agile environment, Collaborating with stakeholders, Mentoring Junior Developers, Etc. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE3+ years of experience with PHP, including frameworks such as Laravel and SymfonyExperience with any cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)Good understanding of code versioning tools such as GitExperience with database management and design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
