Photography Lecturer

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma/Degree in Photography (minimum qualification – NQF 6)
Industry related experience (minimum two years)
Assessors and or Moderators advantageous
Bilingual - Afrikaans and English
In depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro
Videography/Cinematography experience is advantageous.
Display strong conceptual skills and abilities
Proficient in studio lighting and techniques

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

High quality teaching in subject field and related topics
Assess, record, and analyse the achievement of students
Facilitate students' learning and encourage active learning
Curriculum development
Student Supervision and Support
Administration
Quality Assurance
Occasional delivery of short courses after hours

PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

Good interpersonal skills
Good administrative and time management skills
Must have good people skills
Able to work under pressure
Crisis management
