We are currently looking for a confident, dynamic, and vibrant Key Account Manager with a strong attention to detail to join our team to actively market & sell our B2B offering to potential new businesses. The KAM will establish new business relationships in a professional capacity and maintain these relationships with existing clients. This team player should be an outspoken, highly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Key Account Management – Ensuring a new business pipeline is created and maintained in line with new customer acquisition targets.Define and implement sales strategies/business plans aligned to meet sales targets.Maintain excellence in customer relations with new client base.Managing existing accounts meeting all needs of the customer.Reaching monthly and quarterly targets.Provide information such as competitor activity, industry trends, market-related pricing, data etc.Ensure adequate knowledge of our product base.Stay abreast of all new product offerings related to the market.Submission of planners and reports as requested by the CEO.Core Activities:Identify new business leads/prospects in line with set targets.Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.Ensure new business leads are contacted timeously to set up a more formal introduction.Present, promote and sell products using proven sales techniques to prospective customers.Ensure that existing customers are well supported to ensure that sales volumes are grown quarter to quarter in line with set targets.Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.Analyse the territory/market's potential, and track sales and status reports.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.Disciplined, highly motivated, self-starter and target-driven with a proven track record in sales and Key account management.Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.Prioritising, time management and organisational skills.Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.An individual who aspires to overachieve with the vision for exponential personal growth.Preferred Skills and Work Experience:At least 5 years experience in a Sales Representative/Key Account Management role preferably in the telecommunications and/or IT Hardware/software/service sales industry.Qualification/Certification preferably in sales, business management, marketing or another relevant field.Proven track record to meet or exceed defined sales targets.Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
