(Pharmeceutics) Supply Chain Manager #Manufacturing

An internationally acclaimed cosmetic manufacturer is on the hunt for an experienced Supply Chain Manager.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the full supply chain function which includes forecasting, improving, and maintaining all supply chain logistics activities and procedures. The successful incumbent will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities: Ensure order levels are optimized and maintained in line with the plan.Support the Company's supply chain strategy as support to the COO.Analyze supply chain data, performance, and cost-effective solutions identifying areas of improvement.Maintain accurate records, prepare, and analyze reports for all supply chain activities.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain including sourcing, procurement, planning, and warehousing.Lead, coach, and manage the team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.Responsible for the team's performance management process as per company procedures and policy.Stay up to date on industry-relevant regulations in supply chain management.Develop and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of the business.Stay up to date with sustainability regulations and best practices.Advise the COO accurately on all supply chain matters. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.Proven forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.10 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment, of which 5 years must be at a hands-on managerial level in a factory environment.Cosmetic/pharmaceutical industry experience will be a strong advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.Proficient in MS Office packages and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
