Overall Purpose of the Job: As a Pharmacy Sales Representative, you will call on targeted customers according to plan and implement marketing and promotional campaigns in order to achieve sales objectives and targets. You will also play a vital role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, while driving sales and revenue growth. Further to this, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing, trade marketing and sales teams to implement effective strategies that drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
Maximise sales objectives and targets by promoting and selling company products.
Grow direct sales through targeted customers.
Grow market share within allocated territory.
Facilitate product training sessions as per strategy.
Provide feedback and market intelligence to drive product enhancements and improvements.
Stay up to date with product ranges.
Identify in-store opportunities on a continuous basis by building ad hoc displays and nurturing effective in-store relationships.
Highlight opportunities for promotional activity.
Update customer database.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 certificate, preferably with a Degree (Dietetics, Pharma, Commerce or equivalent).
Preferably 2-5 years' experience as a pharmaceutical or medical sales rep.
MS Office Suite essential.
Able to network and build sustainable relationships.
Motivated to achieve targets and drive sales.
Strong communication skills with the ability to artfully influence, persuade and deliver results.
Ability to work with multiple deadlines and under pressure to accomplish sales and customer objectives.
Ability to work in a team.
Good presentation skills or experience in facilitation will be beneficial.
