Internal / External vacancy – Pharmacist (Night Shifts) – 2x posts
A vacancy exists for a pharmacist reporting to the Pharmacy Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for pharmacist duties including but not limited to dispensing of prescriptions and all customer related services.
Critical Outputs

Consistently accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
Interventions on prescriptions as required.
Provide professional patient information and counselling to patients, or any healthcare professionals.
Assist in infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs.
Handle Section 21 applications.
Knowledge of ordering stock.
Visible concern over housekeeping and stock control requirements.
Competent to assist in cycle counts and stock take.
Achieve sound professional relationships with doctors and all other healthcare professionals.
Achieve sound and highly cooperative relationships with all other hospital departments.
Issue Schedule 5 & 6 medication and Balance Schedule 5 & 6 Registers in pharmacy and the wards.

Requirements

Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
Completion of internship and community service
Proof of CPD activities
Antibiotic Stewardship Course beneficial.
2 years Private Hospital Pharmacy experience beneficial
