IntroductionResponsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs). To focus on the administration of scripts to provide general dispensing duties with the emphasis on patient satisfaction
Job Objectives: Responsibilities Interact with customers in a professional manner and with strict confidentiality within SOP and agreed timelinesAdministration of scripts and or any other claiming/capturing related procedureAccurate and complete handling of all profiles worked onInteract with health care professionals where neededProblem solving and follow up of queriesDuties Interact with customers via telephone or other means regarding medication and Healthcare ServicesAccurate capturing of scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centreHandling of queries regarding prescriptionsPatient Profile managementAssist with Chronic authorizationsLiaison with all other departmentsAd hoc requirements as per operational requirementsKnowledge: SAPC and relevant legal knowledgeSound knowledge of the chronic authorization process and proceduresCustomer service orientatedEthical working practice and complianceSkills: Customer service orientatedAccuracy and attention to detailMust be bilingual (with English being one of the requirements)Must be able to work with patients and be adaptable to assist with various departmental dutiesBe able to use initiative in order to provide patient satisfactionAdaptabilityPositive attitudeBe able to work under pressureAdhering to Principles and ValuesWorking with PeopleDelivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsExperience: Minimum 1 year in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
