Minimum Requirements Qualifications Matric NQF 5 - Certificate in banking, DiplomaRE 5Completed within allocated timelines as prescribed by FSCARecognized as per FSCA Relevant Financial qualification Experience 1-3 years previous Private / Personal Sales experience and account management experience within the financial sector Ideal Qualifications NQF 6 / B Com degree or equivalentRecognized as per FSCA Relevant Financial qualification Experience 5 years + previous Private / Personal Sales experience and account management experience within the financial sector Competencies Analyze financial informationUnderstanding of financial markets and economic conditions Duties and Responsibilities FINANCE Establish and grow sales through networking functions, referrals from other customers, or from within corporate sales Offer travel forex, foreign currency transfers (GPO), VISA world currency card, vehicle finance to private clients Facilitate cross-selling between divisions private and business banking Additional revenue streams e.g., Tax Clearance applications, Emigration charges Stay informed of market conditions and do research to determine good opportunities to meet private banking revenue goals Open new and grow accounts in the portfolio Retain existing deposits (Investments) while looking to gain new deposits for the bank Increase asset financing offerings to qualifying private clients CUSTOMER CENTRICITY Relationship Management Identifying and onboarding potential new clients while establishing and cementing relationships Offer full spectrum (one-stop shop) of customer service covering all individual product offerings Exceptional client service Perform customer visits, courtesy calls, and special occasions Provide solutions to issues as required Facilitate relationships between teams to support efficient overall service Stay current with events that affect exchange rates to assist clients more efficiently Keep current with market updates and financial news Establish rapport with individuals quickly and build trust with potential or current clients OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Ensure that interdepartmental processes and relationships are efficient and effective to deliver customer service, including back office, exchange control, governance Relationship management between departments, more solution-based Maintain knowledge and understanding of appropriate legislation and regulations affecting banking and customer interaction to ensure that all transactions are legal INTERNAL PROCESS Administration Review the client files and keep up to date with changes in FICA, relationship management, and client needs Update and manage all client interaction on the CRM system/Shared Drive Manage all administration and related paperwork to conclusion This position is advertised in line with our commitment to Employment Equity.
