RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a large, well-established, national RETAIL COMPANY to source a PERSONAL ASSISTANT to be based at their head office in PINETOWN . R24k to R35k including benefits OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND IS PART OF A GROUP OF 350 RETAIL STORES ACROSS SOUTHERN AFRICA. Applicants should have/be the following: A relevant tertiary qualification. Minimum of 3 years as a personal assistant to senior executives essential. Fully computer literate on MS Office suite. SAP experience will be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Good Interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills. Ability to work independently without any supervision. Supervisory and people management skills. Deadline orientated. Able to respond to incoming correspondence on behalf of the MD. Flexible in terms of working hours and travel. Positive attitude and team player. Prior experience may compensate for qualifications not met and all appointments are subject to our Affirmative Action Policy. Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to: Assist in compiling management reports and preparing meeting minutes and follow-up actions. Assist with preparation of presentations. Draft correspondence, filing and minute taking. Manage complex calendars in collaboration with the leadership team secretaries/PAs. Prioritise appointments and travel arrangements. Act as liaison between the Managing Director and all internal and external stakeholders. Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters relating to the MDs office. Support the MD with special projects, initiatives, and research assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities. Coordinate meetings, conferences and events including agenda preparation, venue booking, technical support, and logistics management. Build and maintain a strong business relationship with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the leadership team. Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner. Management of company pool vehicles and bookings. Effectively manage and lead a team of direct reports. Carrying out any reasonable tasks requested by management (ad hoc duties).
