We are seeking a dedicated and organized Personal Assistant to support our Managing Director and manage various aspects of the companys operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Manage the companys and Managing Directors private accounts. Oversee all payment processes, including salaries, supplier payments, monthly bills, and petty cash management. Input financial data into Pastel and reconcile cash books and journals. Collaborate with external accountants to prepare monthly financial reports. Complete Services Seta and Workmens Compensation documentation. Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts. Submit and process statutory returns via E-filing and Easyfile (EMP201, EMP501, VAT, and Provisional Tax). Perform personal errands for the Managing Director. Manage diary schedules and arrange travel (flights and accommodation). Maintain and update the company website. Liaise with medical aid and insurance companies. Supervise administrative and cleaning staff, as well as the external IT technician. Conduct performance evaluations for administrative staff. Issue warnings and participate in disciplinary hearings as needed. Conduct interviews for internal administrative vacancies. Facilitate staff training and induction processes. Monitor and manage the leave schedule for staff. Design invitations and coordinate holiday and birthday communications. Organize client, candidate, and staff gifts. Coordinate corporate events and staff functions. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role. Strong financial management skills and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Pastel. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online communication tools.
