Vocal Coach/TeacherSt Mary's DSG aims to empower confident yet humble persons of integrity and character to serve our nation and the world. The School invites suitably experienced candidates, who meet the criteria, to apply for the role of Vocal Coach/Teacher in the Junior and Senior School.
Requirements: Classically trained VocalistProficient in Vocal teaching and performing.It is important to note that the appointed teacher will liaise with the parents directly with regards to invoicing and payment for lessons.Energetic, self-motivated, innovative and creativeExcellent interpersonal skills to develop purposeful working relationships with a variety of stakeholdersAbility to contribute to a dynamic and well-established teamWorking with students from ages 6 -18.Writing termly reports.Preparing students for internal Music examinations.Preparing students for external (ABRSM, TCL and UNISA) examinations.Preparing students for eisteddfods and other Music festivals and concerts as required by the Director of Arts and Culture.Strong organisational and administration skillsExperience working in a multi-cultural contextProficient in English, with proficiency in an African language an advantageWilling to support, promote and work within the Anglican ethos of the School.Please clearly mark the position you are applying for and forward your CV to ******.
