Key ResponsibilitiesThe Performance Lead is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of performance deliverables and ensures client satisfaction through service delivery and reaching media objectives.
The Performance Lead acts in a pivotal role, coordinating clients and client's needs with the research, planning, and buying teams with the overall aim of ensuring the business meets the agreed objectives and budgets.
Internally, they also need to be aware and understand profitability status of the account and ensure the integration and process flow throughout all performance campaigns.

To establish the overall digital media performance by demonstrating creative thinking based on consumer & business information and extensive understanding of the brand and category dynamics and their short-and-near horizon challenges - to the standard of commanding respect as a lead business partner.To confer with outside agencies, including but not limited to those such as creative, social media, search and PR partners and client marketing teams to establish media goals, objectives and strategies and provide leadership when necessary, in developing, negotiating and implementing creative media solutions.Develop and maintain senior client relationships; attend, present and provide counsel at all significant agency-client media meetings.Play a key role in monitoring profitability including looking for growth potential within existing accounts and aid in related accountability and billing.Responsible for the implementation and stewardship of all components of performance management and ensure all media deliverables are met on time and within budget.Identify new opportunities and new modes of digital media that offer a strategic advantage to EssenceMediacom or its clients and establish EssenceMediacom's leadership in securing client value.Oversee the quality output of campaign performance and ensure no write-offs.Implement and develop Ways of Working document for the clients.Active participation in new business pitches, in particular performance audits and presentations.Ensure timesheets are completed timeously.Skills & BehavioursA relevant business degree with 5+ years broad-based experience including exposure to all media at all levels of agency-client relationships with significant experience with innovative media approaches in both offline and online and the entire research, planning and implementation process.Snr Performance role for 2 - 4 years.Strong quantitative and analytical skills, detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.A good communicator capable of expressing their own ideas, thoughts and concepts with the ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure.Knowledgeable about key client markets, brands, market & consumer insights, issues, competition, goals and requirements.Ability to manage a team.Ability to handle numerous tasks and deliverables.CompetenciesThis role requires multi-disciplinary competences including presentation skills, negotiation skills, broad-based industry and market awareness and the ability to handle internal and external communications, manage client satisfaction and the timely coordination of the other departments.
The role requires high levels of commercial awareness and needs to ensure the accounts are commercially viable.
