Performance Analyst

An exciting opportunity for a quantitative graduate / specialist to join a leading asset manager. Coronation, based in Cape town, is looking for a Performance Analyst to support the Investment Risk and Performance team in providing the business with accurate performance and risk, and attribution calculations.
Duties and Responsibilities Full involvement in the performance cycleResponsible for daily and monthly performance procedureAd hoc performance queriesEx-post performance and risk analysisCompiling and evaluating performance data for business pitchesResponsible for the performance data sign off process.Maintenance of performance databasesMaintenance of performance systems Ideal Experience Up to 5 years of working experience as a performance analyst within asset management would be an advantage but should not be a barrier to you applying. Ideal Qualifications Financial mathematics or statistical orientationBBusSci/ BComm (Actuarial, Quantitative Management)BSc (Maths, Statistics) Analytical and incredible attention to detail.Good systems knowledge and skills requiredStatpro (Performance & Attribution, Interactive) an advantageCoronation is committed to achieving its transformation goals as set out in the company's Employment Equity Plan.
