People Services Manager: Employee Relations

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Labour law and Industrial Relations, or an equivalent qualification.
A master's degree or additional certification in labour relations is advantageous.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee relations, with at least 5 years in a management role within the FMCG wholesale and retail industry or a similar sector.
Critical Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of the FMCG wholesale and retail environment and the unique challenges associated with managing a large remote workforce.
In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior management on employee relations matters.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organisation.
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and the use of HR analytics tools to drive informed decision-making.
